The Zuccardi Polígonos de Paraje Altamira Malbec is from vineyards in the alluvial fan of the Tunuyán River, planted on sandy-loam soils with gravel covered by calcium carbonate. Aged in concrete vessels and with no time in barrels, this wine has all the austerity that’s usually associated with wines from calcareous soils in the Uco Valley.
