Rutini - Gualtallary Single Vineyard Malbec

Uco Valley - Argentina

Rutini's property in Gualtallary has about 150 hectares including about 70 of malbec, a large area of vineyards that extends toward the beginning of the foothills of the Andes. They select certain rows of this malbec for this Single Vineyard, of which about 20,000 liters are produced. Barrel aging lasted for about 14 months, and the result is a wine that’s entirely concentrated on the fruit, with enveloping aromas and flavors of ripe black and red fruits. The heat of the 2020 season is evident in the succulence of this wine, but the balance is provided by the energetic acidity and the firm and juicy tannins. A wine for the cellar.
