Puerto Cristal – Buenos Aires
Seafood restaurant in Puerto Madero. Unfortunately there were lapses of execution on a recent visit. Expensive with a lack of creativity.

Excellent renditions of middle-eastern cuisine at reasonable prices make Sarkis the most popular ethnic cuisine restaurant in Buenos Aires. What its lacking in decor and average service, it makes up for with a creative menu full of classic Armenian recipes.
This is classic Italian cuisine in a fairly traditional setting on the boardwalk on Puerto Madero. Ambiance is nice but a bit sterile. Service was spot on. Our appetizers on a recent visit were disappointing though. The main course dishes and desserts were better but still missing that element that elevates a meal to something that is truly memorable.
Average food with average service in a less than average setting. Lunch menu at Olaya in Palermo Hollywood is an immensely better choice for Peruvian.
Tacos. That’s about it. But they’re pretty darn good and cheap when you order a tray of six. Frozen margaritas are good too. One of the better spots for casual eat and drink outing in Palermo Hollywood.
Look up "cute little bakery and bistro" in the Encyclopedia Britannica and you’ll see a photo of Hierbabuena. This place is just cool. Just moved to the top spot for Sunday Brunch just barely edging out our former favorite, Uco in Palermo Hollywood. Hierbabuena is a "must-go" for breakfast and lunch.
