Despite a boring décor and confused waiters, Bao Kitchen offers true-to-form Asian food done better than almost anywhere in the city (except Sunae Asian Bistro). Specialty is steamed buns.
For our money, Lo de Jesús offers similar quality in a superior ambience and at a better price than nearby parillas La Cabrera or Don Julio. It’s the best steakhouse in Palermo.
The Croque Madame location on Libertad received good marks after repeated disappointments at the locations on Uruguay and Callao, and now-defunct location in Alto Palermo. The Libertad location is worth a visit just to see the beautiful landscaping in the lawn behind the restaurant.
Fairly authentic and well executed Mexican food with big portions at an very good price. Located in the heart of Palermo Soho. Worth a visit.
Café with pleasant ambience and décor that offers some breakfast and several lunch items (mostly sandwiches and salads). Spotty service.
