Pero en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico est\u00e1n adoptando muchas costumbres de Am\u00e9rica del Norte y el f\u00fatbol americano se ha convertido cada vez m\u00e1s popular all\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras camino por la calle principal de Polanco (Av Presidente Masaryk) me di cuenta de un restaurante tem\u00e1tico deportivo que ten\u00eda televisores de pantalla grande y un mont\u00f3n de televisores de pantalla plana en las paredes en dos grandes comedores. Me asom\u00e9, le pregunte al camarero si estaban mostrando el f\u00fatbol americano el domingo y nos enteramos de que el partido de los Cowboys y los Eagles se muestra en el restaurante el domingo por la tarde.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que, naturalmente, fui a las 3 pm el domingo, yo estaba en el camino al restaurante de Papa Bill para ver el partido. Este restaurante se encuentra en un gran edificio de pie libre en el animado barrio de Polanco de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico. Con dos grandes comedores del restaurante probablemente tiene capacidad para unas 200 personas, aproximadamente. Y hay una gran barra en una de las habitaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Eleg\u00ed sentarme en el bar para ver el partido y picar algo de comida el d\u00eda del partido. La decoraci\u00f3n de este restaurante es agradable. De alguna manera tiene un ambiente de caza con trofeos de caza que adornan las paredes (en los pocos lugares en los que no se encuentran televisores). Tienen manteles azules de algod\u00f3n barato y los camareros vestidos con uniformes negros. El men\u00fa es bastante extenso. Desde bocadillos hasta filetes.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las cosas m\u00e1s singulares sobre Papa Bill es que hay un espacio reservado en el restaurante para los ni\u00f1os para jugar y trabajar en artes y oficios. Un mont\u00f3n de huchas de barro estaban recibiendo alguna decoraci\u00f3n muy colorido en este domingo en particular. Esto mantiene a los j\u00f3venes ocupados mientras los padres est\u00e1n cenando, tomando una copa o dos, y ver deportes en la gran pantalla. Los ni\u00f1os realmente tienen ganas de ir debido a esta caracter\u00edstica altamente imaginativa del restaurante. Obviamente, el restaurante es ideal para familias.<\/p>\n<p>Papa Bill tiene un surtido de cervezas. Ped\u00ed una \u00e1mbar de un Dos X\u2019s Amber para comenzar y tortillas con salsa de rodadura. Los chips se sirven con una salsa de frijoles en pur\u00e9, salsa de tomatillo verde suave, una salsa roja picante y algunas zanahorias y los jalape\u00f1os en escabeche.<\/p>\n<p>Por medio tiempo, los Cowboys estaban ganando 3 a 0. Decid\u00ed cambiar a una cerveza Sol m\u00e1s ligera (similar a una Corona) y me pareci\u00f3 que probablemente les traiga suerte en la segunda mitad.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s pedimos los tacos de lengua de ternera. Los tacos estaban bien, pero no geniales. La carne podr\u00eda haber sido sazonado un poco m\u00e1s y algunas de las peque\u00f1as tiras de lengua de ternera estaban cocidas. Pero a pesar de estas deficiencias estos tacos eran bastante satisfactorios.<\/p>\n<p>La mejor noticia de todas (a menos que usted es un fan de Eagles) es que los Cowboys ganaron el partido.<\/p>\n<p>Para cualquiera que busque un lugar para tomar unas copas y algo de comida decente mientras mira su evento deportivo favorito, Papa Bill es una gran elecci\u00f3n. \u00bfTienes una manada de  j\u00f3venes que te acompa\u00f1an? Toda la familia ser\u00e1 bienvenida en Papa Bill.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a m\u00ed... Yo no soy supersticioso.
