Miles de vendedores ambulantes en toda la ciudad sirven peque\u00f1as tortillas de ma\u00edz rellenas con todo tipo de carne de cerdo, pollo, ternera, mariscos y condimentos a todas horas del d\u00eda. Las variaciones son ilimitadas. Chilangos (la palabra del argot para los residentes de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y sus suburbios circundantes) se paran en el mostrador, tres de profundidad, comiendo sus tacos. Despu\u00e9s de a\u00f1os de un r\u00e9gimen habitual, la mayor\u00eda de los chilangos logran bajar tres tacos en menos de 10 minutos sin que se manchen las camisas de vestir blancas. El taco m\u00e1s popular es el taco al pastor, que es una tortilla de ma\u00edz rellena con carne afeitada de losas de cerdo ensartadas en capas con especias, chiles y pi\u00f1a, hechos de la misma
