In a Nutshell

Bola de Oro is not likely to knock Starbucks or local favorite, Cielito Querido, off the map anytime soon, but it’s still an acceptable choice for a cup of coffee.

The décor in Bola de Oro sort of looks like a children’s Christmas party go awry. Bright (very bright) green and red accents. The restaurant likely looked a bit dated the day it opened. Hopefully they didn’t pay an interior designer for this.

Horrible decorating decisions aside, the café serves up a pretty good cup of coffee. They also serve coffee-making paraphernalia and a variety coffees by the bag.

Service was acceptable and the waiters were friendly.

They offer your typical breads and pastries. Nothing worth a visit for breakfast.

Bola de Oro is not likely to knock Starbucks or local favorite, Cielito Querido, off the map anytime soon, but it’s still an acceptable choice for a cup of coffee.
