In a Nutshell

It’s as cute as a button inside. Has a few tables out on the sidewalk to enjoy that beautiful Mexico City weather. They do the coffee right.

Good things come in small packages. Especially when that small package is a café. That applied to our review of The Shelter in Buenos Aires and it applies equally to our adoration for Biscottino, in the affluent neighborhood of Polanco, just steps from the city’s biggest international hotels.

If you get a bit depressed sitting in a hotel restaurant checking your email or reading the morning paper, why not take a stroll a few blocks down the way to Biscottino?

It’s as cute as a button inside. Has a few tables out on the sidewalk to enjoy that beautiful Mexico City weather. They do the coffee right. 100% Oaxocan beans, with a mild roast but plenty of rich of flavor.

My cappuccino was made just right. A nice well-rounded cup of coffee.

There are a variety of tasty baked goods and pastries to accompany your coffee. You order and pay at the counter but they’ll bring your order to the table and otherwise attend to your needs as if it were full table service.

We like this place. We think you will too.
