Ese, y El Peruanito, a unas ocho cuadras de distancia, han estado luchando por la posici\u00f3n del mejor perro de s\u00e1ndwiches en Miraflores durante a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n<p> Hay algunas diferencias que distinguen a El Enano de los competidores. Primero, no es solo un s\u00e1ndwich y un restaurante de chicharr\u00f3n, sino que ofrece algunos elementos m\u00e1s del men\u00fa para ayudar a distinguirlo de las otras tiendas de s\u00e1ndwiches. Ofrece grandes tazones de fruta fresca que se han convertido en un elemento distintivo, y perritos calientes, hamburguesas y lo que se conoce como tacos y enchiladas. <\/p>\n<p> Si est\u00e1 culturalmente iluminado o es de Texas o M\u00e9xico, no lo haga. D\u00e9jate enga\u00f1ar por los nombres de los elementos del men\u00fa. Los tacos y las enchiladas no son ni remotamente similares a lo que encontrar\u00edas en M\u00e9xico o Texas en los restaurantes Tex-Mex. Ser\u00eda m\u00e1s preciso describir los tacos como \"envolturas\". Son emparedados envueltos en tortillas de harina. Y si agregan un poco de queso que rebana al taco, lo llaman una enchilada. Pero aparte del l\u00e9xico incorrecto, todav\u00eda ofrece una peque\u00f1a variedad que el cercano Peruanito no ofrece. El hot dog es realmente un s\u00e1ndwich con una salchicha al estilo alem\u00e1n o vien\u00e9s y la hamburguesa es una triste excusa para una hamburguesa, considerando que hay muchas buenas opciones para hamburguesas en Lima en restaurantes como Juicy Lucy y Bon Beef. <\/p>\n<p> No est\u00e1bamos tan impresionados con el pan aburrido que usan para los s\u00e1ndwiches. De todos los s\u00e1ndwiches que hemos comido, el pan es nuestro menos favorito. Pero El Enano compensa con una variedad m\u00e1s grande de ingredientes para agregar al s\u00e1ndwich para agregar un poco de inter\u00e9s. <\/p>\n<p> Otra cosa que nos gusta es el dise\u00f1o de fuente de soda de este restaurante. No hay mesas. Solo mostradores largos con taburetes altos frente a los cocineros mientras construyen los s\u00e1ndwiches. Por lo general entabl\u00e9 una conversaci\u00f3n con alguien sentado cerca del bar. A pesar del repugnante enrejado de color verde brillante que rodea las paredes y las luces deslumbrantes en lo alto, el ambiente es a\u00fan m\u00e1s agradable que el ambiente deprimente de El Peruanito. <\/p>\n<p> Los precios son ligeramente m\u00e1s bajos de lo que encontrar\u00e1 en cualquiera de los competidores, pero no por mucho. <\/p>\n<p> El Enano es lo suficientemente \u00fanico, en comparaci\u00f3n con otros sangucheri\u00e1s en Lima, para justificar una visita. Vale la pena explorar algunos de los elementos que no encontrar\u00e1 en el men\u00fa de otros vendedores ambulantes de s\u00e1ndwich. El servicio es bastante bueno, y el dise\u00f1o de fuente de soda lo convierte en un ambiente interesante.
