The menu has a handful of Peruvian classics, but the most popular items are the international pop-food favorites like the burger, the hot wings, the club sandwich and the spaghetti Bolognese.<br \/>\nThey also serve breakfast. In fact, I recently enjoyed the best version of Eggs Benedict in Lima, featuring an admirable attempt at real English muffins.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nA full two-thirds of the available tables are out on the massive open-air terrace overlooking the ocean.  For those rainy days there is a limited amount of seating indoors.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe d\u00e9cor is pleasant, the restaurant in clean, and the waiters are friendly and helpful.<br \/>\nPrices are reasonable, especially considering the prime location. A burger with fries would run you about US$10.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nMangos puts more emphasis on selling beer and cocktails than the sister restaurant, Popular, next door. It squarely fits into our gastropub category with a large full-service bar catering to that sizeable terrace out back. One other element, it\u2019s raw bar, selling fresh raw shellfish and seafood by the piece, distinguishes it from almost all the other restaurants in the area.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWhat could be better than enjoying a Cusque\u00f1a beer or pisco sour with a dozen oysters on the half-shell while watching dozens of parasailers traversing the ocean at eye-level? Ah \u2026 That\u2019s the life.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nDon\u2019t expect a 5-star gourmet meal or anything remotely authentically Peruvian. This place is for getting an American breakfast, a descent salad or sandwich, or enjoying drinks and finger-foods with a great view. if you go at a time when the place is absolutely packed, which could easily happen, expect the service to be a notch lower than normal. That\u2019s good advice for any restaurant.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nBut for the best view in the city, a menu full of consistently well-executed contemporary dishes with a North American personality, and plenty
