No es para pintorescos restaurantes portugueses que sirven platos cl\u00e1sicos portugueses que utilizan ingredientes como Bacalao (bacalao salado). Ubicado en el espacio abierto entre dos edificios en Condell, en el coraz\u00f3n de Barrio Italia, se encuentra Lusitano, que se describe a s\u00ed mismo como un restaurante de inspiraci\u00f3n portuguesa. (M\u00fasica de jazz y cantantes portugueses). <\/p>\n<p> Si est\u00e1 lloviendo, las opciones de asientos son limitadas. La mayor\u00eda de las mesas est\u00e1n situadas en un gran patio en el centro del espacio. Hay dos comedores cubiertos. Uno est\u00e1 adyacente al bar en la parte posterior del restaurante, con capacidad para 10 a 12 comensales. Sobre la zona de comedor contigua al bar hay una zona de comedor en la azotea (al aire libre) con capacidad para otros 15 comensales. El otro comedor interior est\u00e1 ubicado en la parte delantera del restaurante, con capacidad para aproximadamente 20 a 25 comensales. El gran patio entre los dos tiene una docena o m\u00e1s de mesas con capacidad para aproximadamente cincuenta comensales. <\/p>\n<p> El restaurante suele estar ocupado por las noches. Se recomienda hacer reservaciones. Se pueden hacer en l\u00ednea usando Restorando.com. <\/p>\n<p> La decoraci\u00f3n es simple pero atractiva, con una gran cantidad de exuberante follaje en el \u00e1rea del jard\u00edn que proporciona un ambiente c\u00f3modo y natural para su experiencia culinaria. Hay grandes piezas de arte abstracto y carteles que representan escenas de Portugal, todo hecho con buen gusto. <\/p>\n<p> Cada mesa est\u00e1 decorada con porcelana blanca y vajilla pesada y atractiva. Es un ambiente agradable que es a\u00fan m\u00e1s memorable en una fresca noche de primavera. <\/p>\n<p> Lo \u00fanico fuera de lugar en esta sofisticaci\u00f3n por lo dem\u00e1s discreta son las servilletas de papel, que parec\u00edan extra\u00f1amente fuera de lugar. Las servilletas de tela blanca habr\u00edan sido la guinda del pastel. <\/p>\n<p> Lamentablemente, lo m\u00e1s singular y portugu\u00e9s del men\u00fa, el Bacalao (con dos preparaciones diferentes en el men\u00fa) no estaba disponible la noche que cen\u00e9 en Lusitano. <\/p>\n<p> Pero la centolla gratinada (cazuela de cangrejo) fue un reemplazo adecuado y el plato estaba lleno de carne de cangrejo en una salsa cremosa, cubierta con queso, luego carbonizada debajo del asador. <\/p>\n<p> Me decepcion\u00f3 la postre. Los restaurantes chilenos parecen tener dificultades para romper viejos h\u00e1bitos. Veo los mismos viejos y desgastados postres en casi todos los restaurantes, ninguno de los cuales fue tan espectacular, incluso cuando fueron concebidos hace d\u00e9cadas. <\/p>\n<p> Ped\u00ed una tarta de chocolate rellena con un ganache de chocolate oscuro semi dulce en una c\u00e1scara de pastel peque\u00f1o. El caparaz\u00f3n era tan duro como una roca y el ganache era casi tan duro, ya que no se me permiti\u00f3 volver a la temperatura ambiente despu\u00e9s de haber sido retirado del refrigerador. <\/p>\n<p> El servicio en mi visita nocturna con un restaurante completo fue mejor que aceptable . Sin quejas. Pero he visto muchas rese\u00f1as de consumidores en fuentes en l\u00ednea que se quejan del servicio lento. <\/p>\n<p> Este restaurante tiene una linda pasteler\u00eda y una helader\u00eda en la parte frontal del edificio que da a la calle y sirve un men\u00fa limitado por las ma\u00f1anas que incluye gofres para Desayuno, comenzando a las 8:30 am (aunque tuve que caminar hacia la cocina para encontrar a la camarera a esa hora del d\u00eda). El caf\u00e9 es italiano asado, Musetti. No soy un fan de los caf\u00e9s italianos, pero este Musetti es un poco m\u00e1s suave y menos amargo que la mayor\u00eda de los caf\u00e9s con tostados italianos. <\/p>\n<p> Una ma\u00f1ana, tuve un gofre. Fue uno de esos gofres finos tipo tostador y, honestamente, he congelado gofres mejor que este. La serv\u00edan fr\u00eda. Creo que los prepararon previamente, ya que no se serv\u00edan calientes y el que me sirvieron estaba seco ... casi quebradizo. <\/p>\n<p> Este es casi el \u00fanico lugar donde puedes encontrar algo que no sea una rebanada de pan de nuez de pl\u00e1tano y caf\u00e9. en este vecindario para el desayuno, as\u00ed que supongo que merecen algo de cr\u00e9dito solo por despertarse. <\/p>\n<p> Resumiendo, Lusiano tiene un men\u00fa \u00fanico que, de ser ejecutado adecuadamente, har\u00eda de este restaurante, con un ambiente agradable, \u00fanico en su clase. Destino en Santiago para la cena. Pero tener 86d el \u00fanico ingrediente singularmente \u00fanico en el men\u00fa antes incluso de abrir las puertas para el servicio de la noche le roba al restaurante cualquier legitimidad real. Los postres apenas promedio a\u00f1aden insulto a la lesi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p> \u00bfDesayuno? Los gofres no eran mejores que lo que me quedo en la tostadora del congelador. El caf\u00e9 era aceptable. Tal vez valga la pena una visita por la ma\u00f1ana solo por croissant y caf\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p> Hago que este restaurante suene horrible, pero no lo es.
