In a Nutshell

Millefleur is a small café cum bistro with a lot of French personality, offering fresh-baked bread and pastries, a range of breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and a few French classic mains like a Beouf Bourguignon and Coque au Vin. The décor is stylish. The menu creative and generally well-executed. Prices are a bit steep but no more than most of the restaurants in that affluent section of Vitacura.

Looking for something to satisfy your appetite for French cuisine in a casual and comfortable atmosphere? Look no further than Millefleur, with a diverse menu designed to satisfy about any culinary desire. There are plenty of breakfast items including eggs done about any way you could imagine. That includes Eggs Benedict, Croque Madame, scrambled eggs loaded with your favorite add-ons, and of course, French omelettes.

Try one of the tasty salads or creatively conceived sandwiches for a change of pace at lunch and for something a bit more complex, why not try one of the French classics on the menu, like Beouf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin or Ratatuille. Not feeling Frenchy today. Not a problem. Satisfy your Italian urges with one of their pizzas or pasta dishes.

As you might expect there are all kinds of boulangerie-inspired breads and pastries including the classic French cookie, the macaron.

Mille Fleur is located in the upscale shopping mall, Casa Costanera in Vitacura, it offers a diverse menu that is designed to appeal to the widest range of tastes. Although the restaurant has garnered some negative comments about the service staff on consumer review sites, on my visits the employees were always friendly and service was up to snuff.

The décor is just slightly contemporary with subtle rustic French touches to make it feel inviting.

The prices are a bit steep. But that's true of every restaurant on Nueva Costanera in this affluent part of Vitacura. It seems to come with the territory.

All things said, we think the creative menu in a casual, comfortable setting makes Millefleur a worthwhile destination for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
