Vapiano, an international restaurant franchise, is now in Santiago, bringing popular Italian dishes, antipasto, pasta and pizza to Santiaguinos in a fast-casual format. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The décor is very attractive for this ultra-casual format.

The logistics of food delivery and payment are creative. You’re handed a card on entry. Be sure to get your card at the front desk. You hand the card to the employee taking your order at the counter. After you pick up the food and enjoy your meal, you take the card to the cashier where you pay. Quick and easy.

The staff seems well-trained and attentive. They churn out ordered food very quickly. And both the pizza and pasta are surprisingly good. We think Vapiano, in all the locations, is an excellent choice for quick, inexpensive and delicious Italian cuisine.
