En nuestra rese\u00f1a de Hierbabuena hab\u00edamos comentado lo agradable que era la ubicaci\u00f3n y lo diferente que era este barrio del resto de San Telmo. Bueno, despu\u00e9s de mirar el mapa hoy, me di cuenta de que todo lo que est\u00e1 ubicado en el lado sur de Caseras, en realidad est\u00e1 en Barracas, no en San Telmo. Tal vez eso lo explique.<\/p>\n<p>Pero ese es el final de la lecci\u00f3n de geograf\u00eda de hoy. <\/p>\n<p>Club Social, ubicado en ese peque\u00f1o y agradable barrio, cierra la brecha entre lo que \"sol\u00eda ser\" y lo que \"es\" en Buenos Aires. Tiene un toque de la sensaci\u00f3n de esos bodegones tradicionales, pero con una sensaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s limpia y contempor\u00e1nea, y un men\u00fa moderno bien ejecutado con toques de cocina francesa tradicional.<\/p>\n<p>Solo hemos participado de la cocina m\u00e1s contempor\u00e1nea (no -Franc\u00e9s) art\u00edculos en el men\u00fa. La hamburguesa, una ensalada, el s\u00e1ndwich de cerdo y los huevos benedictinos. Tenemos planes de cenar y probar los platos campesinos franceses muy pronto.<\/p>\n<p>La hamburguesa estaba muy buena. Suficiente contenido de grasa en la carne para que sea jugosa. Un bollo grande, fresco, de semillas de amapola. Lechuga fresca y tomates. Se sirve con papas fritas crujientes y calientes.<\/p>\n<p>La ensalada Club Social tambi\u00e9n estuvo buena. Bien aderezado con una sabrosa vinagreta. Cubierto con crocantes nuggets fritos de queso y salm\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El s\u00e1ndwich de Pork BBQ fue ba\u00f1ado en una deliciosa salsa barbacoa, acompa\u00f1ado de papas fritas. Un s\u00e1ndwich lo suficientemente bueno como para figurar en la lista de las mejores selecciones para s\u00e1ndwiches.<\/p>\n<p>Los fines de semana, tienen un brunch con una variedad de platos de huevo, incluidos los huevos benedictinos.
