Let\u2019s assume you wake up on the west end of Palermo Soho on about any morning, any time of the year. The way I see it, you have a couple of choices for a \u201cspecialty\u201d coffee shop, Full City Coffee House, or Lattente, located within three blocks of each other.<\/p>\n

The credo at Lattente is \u201cNo WIFI, No Newspapers, No beverage other than coffee, and No PCs or Macs in this caf\u00e9\u201d. Well, unlike the patrons at Lattente, I have a job. And that job requires using a computer and checking my email occasionally, which of course, requires WIFI. I do not consider it a badge of honor to be unemployed. So, for that reason, I don\u2019t drink coffee at Lattente. But if you\u2019re unemployed and like to read books, Lattente might be your cup of tea. (Maybe not since they don\u2019t serve cups of tea.)<\/p>\n

But if you want to read a magazine, a newspaper, or check your email inbox while your drinking a cup of coffee, Full City Coffee House is the clear choice. <\/p>\n

Oh. Did I mention . . . they have coffee? Good coffee. 100% Colombian, from all the major producing regions in the country, roasted in-house.<\/p>\n

They also serve a wide variety of food, both sweet and savory items. They even have a full English breakfast, complete with the mashers and beans.<\/p>\n

My latest waiter was the friendliest and most helpful waiter I\u2019ve experienced in Buenos Aires.<\/p><\/div>\n
