Zuccardi - Poligonos San Pablo Cabernet Franc
San Pablo - Uco Valley - Argentina
The Zuccardi Poligonos Cabernet franc is sourced from vineyards in the San Pablo highlands, at the base of the first spurs of the Andes, at an altitude of about 1,400 meters in the Uco Valley. Aged in foudres for about 10 months, it has a solid framework of tannins, acidity that adds juiciness, and herbal notes that provide continuous freshness in a franc that’s very close to what you would expect from the variety. But give it some time in the glass and you’ll see how this wine grows more complex. Peppery notes emerge, the red fruit mingles with those herbs, and the tannins are increasingly piercing.
