Quotidiano is the casual genre iteration of Sottovoce, one of the city's most successful restaurants. Quotidiano has a modern, slightly industrial, but laid-back décor and ambience in contrast the white table cloth formality of sister restaurant, Sottovoce, which makes it popular with patrons of all ages.
Although Quotidiano emphasizes it's proficiency in the pasta genre, the menu has a full range of casual dining favorites, including sandwiches, salads and a burger for the non-Italian inclined diners. Everything is reasonably priced (check out the menu link on this page). Even the limited selection of main course dishes like the Lomo Saltimboca are less than US$10. And, yes, they, they offers both seafood pasta and main course items for you pescatarians.
Service is acceptable. The place gets a bit routy at times when the family's are there with all the children. Some running about as kids do. But that's just part of the casual, family atmosphere.
In summary, Quotidiano is about as good as it gets for casual Italian dining, running neck and neck with Cucina Paradiso, another great casual dining choice with multiple locations for cucina italiana.
