Café Mishiguene is the casual dining offshoot of the highly acclaimed local restaurant Mishiguene which features the chef’s unique take on Israeli and Middle-Eastern cuisine. The café features a pleasant ambiance with a long communal bar in the center of the restaurant that makes it easy to strike up a friendly conversation with diners sharing the table with you.

The café offers both breakfast and lunch items with a menu featuring both Middle-Eastern and Eastern-European Jewish cuisine. The menu features in-house baked breads like jalea, challah, labneh and bagels, pickled vegetables, hummus and other mezze favorites, and the Mishiguene specialty, pastrami as a plate or sandwich.

The service staff is friendly and attentive. Despite the unique menu, the prices are commensurate with restaurants offering similar quality, décor, and food.

Our photo slider shows the Pastrami sandwich, a scrambled egg-whites on bagel with avocado, tomato and cheese, and flavorful shakshuka.

You won’t find a better spot for breakfast or lunch in this Palermo neighborhood.
