Santiago’s premier seafood experience. Fabulous ambiance and consistently good food. There are perhaps more impressive gourmet options in Santiago. But none that speak “Santiago” more distinctly than Coco Pacheco’s Aquí Esta Coco. If we had to choose two restaurants on the must go list for Santiago this one and Confitería Torres would most likely be those two restaurants.
Bistro-style restaurant where the young and friendly waiters (and waitresses) are serving up French classics at reasonable prices in a casual, contemporary atmosphere. Expansive wine list. When I was living in Providencia this was my “go to” place for a nice dinner in a relaxed setting.
Darn good burgers and fries. The decor is a bit sterile. Chrome with black and white tile like a subway station. There are dozens of locations throughout Santiago so there’s bound to be one close to you. Unless you’re wanting to drive to Bellavista or live there this is a pretty good choice for a burger if you have the greenbacks … cause these are pricey.
Acclaimed Burger Joint that somehow one a spot as one of the top Burger Joints in the world in American Airlines’ Encounters travel magazine. Slightly overrated. Burgers are good … but not spectacular. Outdoor seating online. Better hope it doesn’t rain.
