Confitería Torres is one of the oldest restaurant franchises in Santiago. The location on Alameda near La Moneda has been serving Barros Lucas sandwiches for more than century. The Las Condes location has gone a bit more contemporary without losing the traditional elements. Argentine classic menu items are served up at reasonable prices. Sidewalk Terrace is great for people-watching. Good Food. Go
Rating: Stars . Restaurant Type: Steakhouse . Grilled Steaks . Cost: . High quality Argentine-style steakhouse on restaurant row (Isidora Goyenechea) in Las Condes.
High-quality traditional Basque Cuisine on restaurant row (Isidora Goyenechea) in Las Condes, a couple of blocks from many of the city’s top hotels.
Nolita has 2 locations. Las Condes and Lastarria. Decor is dated in Las Condes. So is the food. Service was acceptable. Nolita barely rated a review with a dismal 3 star rating, overall.
Best location for a restaurant in Santiago, adjacent to the W Hotel. Nouvelle cuisine adequately executed but lacking the pizzazz we’d like to see from a restaurant so masterfully decorated. Menu is reasonably priced considering the prime location.
Bistro-style restaurant on Isidora’s restaurant row in Las Condes. Caters to lunch crowd working in nearby office buildings and tourists staying in hotels close-by. One block from The W Hotel. Pretty good assortment of gourmet sandwiches, burgers and excellent salads.
Darn good burgers and fries. The decor is a bit sterile. Chrome with black and white tile like a subway station. There are dozens of locations throughout Santiago so there’s bound to be one close to you. Unless you’re wanting to drive to Bellavista or live there this is a pretty good choice for a burger if you have the greenbacks … cause these are pricey.
