Rating: Stars . Restaurant Type: Steakhouse . Grilled Steaks . Cost: . Campo Bravo targets a young, “jet set” crowd. The ambiance and vibe are more energetic and contemporary than your typical Argentine parilla.
Gourmet Peruvian-Asian Fusion in a casual, contemporary setting. Outstanding execution. Unique variations on Peruvian classics. Excellent Service. Olaya is not cheap. One of the more expensive restaurants in this part of the city. But they have a mid-day three course menu that is heavily discounted. Don’t let the fact that there are no lines to get in deceive you.
Rating: Stars . Casual Dining . Cuisine: Peruvian . . Famed Peruvian Chef Gaston Acurio brings his contemporary cevichería format La Mar to Buenos Aires. Masterful execution of Peruvian / Fusion.
Choose from an 8 or 10 course tasting menu with our without wine pairing. No a la carte menu. Humble surroundings but creative and well executed multi-course menu.
No cliche Estancia decor in this more modern take on the Argentine steakhouse. Slightly higher quality steaks than nearby Las Cabras but more expensive too. Suffers from a lack of creativity. I almost fell asleep eating my steak.
New breed of more modern steakhouse with younger waiters and waitresses than your traditional Argentine parilla. But on a recent visit the steaks were overcooked and the service was lacking
Rating: Stars . Restaurant Type: Casual Dining, Café . Bread-Pastries . Cost: . Cozy cafe. Friendly staff. Ollie O's favorite restaurant for breakfast in Palermo. Try the Eggs Benedict or add an egg to the croissant with ham & cheese.
I split a big ole rib-eye and a side of creamy, cheesy potatoes with my buddy on a recent visit to El Trapiche. Plenty of food for two and it cost us less than US$8 each. Atmosphere is very “old school” but if ambiance isn’t high on your list this is a pretty good destination for a steak in Palermo Hollywood.
Traditional Italian restaurant specializing in homemade ravioli and other stuffed pasta. Food was good but not great. Ambiance is Just a little on the stale and boring side.
Rating: Stars . Restaurant Type: Casual Dining . Eclectic . Cost: . Get over to Peron, Peron, order up the Oso Buco on the polenta and be prepared to feel wonderful about how you spent your money.
Small restaurant. But packs a big punch with excellent food and service. The perfect neighborhood bistro but worth a drive from adjoining barrios. It was that good.
Brandon has a nice contemporary decor, a young well-trained staff and a short but well executed menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You’d think you were in the USA. It’s got that feel to it. An excellent place for breakfast. Yes. They have eggs. But prices are bit steep, even for Palermo Hollywood
Trendy Mexican Food with very nice decor. The chef has attempted to modify and glorify Mexican food but has not been entirely successful. Some of the dishes like the enchiladas were quite tasty, despite being nowhere close to authentic.
A unique take on an Argentine steakhouse. The dining room is adorned with album covers from British and American pop/rock classics. Interesting place. Friendly staff. Good food and service at a reasonable price. Worth a visit.
Outstanding food in stark but tastefully decorated restaurant. Sommelier will show you the wine collection and provide information about the region, the grape variety and vintage of each wine. We really enjoyed this outing and think you will as well.
Casual Dining / Bistro in tastefully decorated locale in Palermo Hollywood. A wide range of refreshing and creative dishes. One of the city’s best kept secrets.
Cleverly decorated with a French motif and late-model Peugeot sedan sitting in the entryway. This is more a bar than a restaurant. It has inexpensive drinks and a big menu of finger-foods. Check out the sliders. Enough for 2 or 3 and they taste pretty darn good. Great place to meet friends to drink and nibble.
The most authentic of all the Mexican food restaurants we’ve visited. Spicy and delicious food. Reasonably priced. Margarita was small, but very good. But no Mexican brews. But ambiance and service were somewhat lacking. This place is about the food.
