Gran Bar Danzon has been the premier bar and restaurant in Buenos Aires for a decade. Drinks, dinner, or both. No better location than Gran Bar Danzon.
AvantGarten is a trendy gastropub, with a young crowd, serving up both draft and bottled artisanal beer. along with some cocktails and shots of Jägermeister. Typical gastropub food with the addition of some dishes with German sausages. And a catchy name.
Sleek. Trendy. Upscale. Uptempo. Restaurant. Bar. Take your pick. Great food. Unique menu. A bit loud. If you’re looking for a traditional restaurant try one of many in La Recova four blocks away.
Nice modern Gastropub pouring artisanal beer and ale on tap plus cocktails. The tapas were good. Excellent place to have a brew and few bites to accompany your brew.
The hottest bar in Buenos Aires might just be the best restaurant as well. A limited menu with one steak, a few fish main course items, and a handful of tapas. But what they do, they do marvelously well. Not so good for a romantic or quiet dinner. But for great food at a reasonable price in a fun atmosphere it’s the best choice in Buenos Aires.
This place had a very similar vibe to what you get over at Floreria Atlantico, but with better prices and more room to move around. That’s a plus, especially if you’re claustrophobic.
Cleverly decorated with a French motif and late-model Peugeot sedan sitting in the entryway. This is more a bar than a restaurant. It has inexpensive drinks and a big menu of finger-foods. Check out the sliders. Enough for 2 or 3 and they taste pretty darn good. Great place to meet friends to drink and nibble.
