Sucre brings a raspy, rustic feel to Argentine gourmet cuisine. And weekdays at lunch, diners can enjoy celebrity chef Fernando Trucco’s and the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine, Matias Ferreyra’s creative dishes at half the price of an evening meal at the restaurant. Appetizer, Main-Course with side-dish, a dessert, and a glass of wine costs ARS$500 (US$12.50).

For the appetizer, diners can choose one of two available empanadas, or the “chef’s choice” appetizer, which changes with the seasons. Main course is either the plate of the day, firewood-grilled “arañita de res” (a mysterious, rarely used beef-cut), shrimp linguini dish. The dessert is a scoop of artisanal ice cream. The menu is served with a glass of Saint Felicien Catena Zapata Cabernet Franc or Chardonnay.

Table service charge not included. Add ARS$60 per diner for the “cubierto”.
